Presenter: Debbie Abel, AuD

CEUs: 0.1

Instructional Level: Fundamental

Description: Coding for audiology services is confusing and unlike other health care coding, especially when it comes to Medicare regulations. With a solid understanding of these skills as well as those for proper documentation, you can help more patients, remove that unnecessary paperwork, and avoid leaving revenues on the table.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Identify the three coding systems necessary to bill all audiology services.
  2. List essential documentation necessary for compliance, reporting purposes and potential audits.
  3. Describe Medicare regulations specific to audiologists.
