Description:
Intervention in the form of amplification is an ever-changing and dynamic component of Audiology. This session will feature a panel of experienced clinicians and experts discussing clinical cases focused specifically on amplification. Cases will review and highlight innovative ways to integrate all aspects of evidence-based practices. Additionally, attendees will be able to interact with the cases and panel throughout the session.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Summarize relevant, current evidence-based practices associated with amplification.
2. Identify both unique and novel problem solving and approaches to challenging amplification cases.
3. Better understand the impact of hearing aid choice on patient outcomes and use this information in their own clinical decisions.
