Description: 

Some audiology intervention services can be reliably and efficiently delivered by telehealth. Cincinnati Children’s is providing device troubleshooting, hearing aid evaluations, infant hearing aid checks and cochlear implant mapping via telehealth. This presentation will describe the steps necessary to establish a telehealth program, the technology that is utilized, challenges we encountered and how they were resolved, ways to increase staff motivation and participation, and how to maintain patient satisfaction and optimal clinical outcomes.
