Date: April 7, 2020, 10:00 - 11:00 am ET

Presenter: Tammy Hughes, BAAS

CEUs: 0.1 Tier 1/AAA CEUs

Instructional Level: Advanced

Description: Men and women grow up in different cultures and learn different lessons about “appropriate” teamwork, problem solving and leadership. Those differences are often difficult to see, let alone manage. Our presentations and workshops use humor to address the central factors that drive gender-related communication problems. We emphasize the importance of men and women valuing each other’s strengths.

Learning Objectives:

  • 1. Describe the lessons of the other gender and how behaviors are often seen as problematic.
  • 2. Explain the different ways men and women speak and how messages are often misread.
  • 3. Explain how knowing the gender differences improve gender-related communication in a practice.

She is fascinated by and knowledgeable about gender and generational differences—and her passion permeates her energetic style. She paints the research with fun, real-life stories from the workplace and personal life. Tammy delivers humorous/content-rich keynotes, executive sessions and workshops.
