Description: An overview of best practices that will help with business development. Previous research is analyzed to obtain best practice methods for success. Business principles using EBITDA and financial statements with cash flow are of utmost importance. Two private practices in a given market are analyzed with their business methodology and best practices are determined. Accounting knowledge at a basic level will help audiologists perform better and result in higher profits. Finally the best practice business principles are summarized.

Shreemanti Chakrabarty, AuD, MBA
Dr. Shreemanti Chakrabarty, AuD (Doctor of Audiology) obtained her clinical doctorate in Audiology from Northern Illinois University in 2013. She is a Board Certified Audiologist and has worked in private audiology, ENT physician practices, as well as in hospital settings. Dr.Chakrabarty has a lot of experience in diagnostic audiology specifically working with patients with hearing loss, tinnitus and balance disorders, as well as hearing aid fitting and dispensing. She has presented in various national Audiology conferences. Dr.Chakrabarty has a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech language and Hearing Association, and is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. In addition, Dr. Chakrabarty has an MBA, which allows her to follow best business practices, keeping patient care in mind. She strongly believes in providing superior patient care. She is currently working at a private practice in New Jersey, heping patients with hearing loss and tinnitus.
