Description: The COVID-19 pandemic has focused attention on inequalities in healthcare. A recent article by Reed et al demonstrated disparities by race and gender in hearing healthcare. Survey results from over 3000 older adults in MarkeTrak IX and X datasets were examined related to self-reported hearing loss, hearing aid adoption and hearing aid ownership. These results were compared by gender, race, and income level. The presentation will provide insights into differences and possible strategies to improve delivery of products and services.
