Description:
This Grand Rounds session features audiologists who specialize in the diagnosis and management of pediatric patients. During this course, a panel of audiologists will share 6 clinically-applicable cases that helped them grow and innovate their clinical practice. The importance of evidenced-based care and collaboration with other professionals will be highlighted to achieve best outcomes for pediatric patients.
Learning Outcomes:
1. Describe the importance of interprofessional collaboration in managing pediatric patients, taking special consideration of the ‘whole child.’.
2. Review how recent research has impacted clinical treatment of pediatric patients.
3. Identify challenges that may impact the timely diagnosis of pediatric patients.
