Description:

Abstract:

The creation of a great culture will encourage the highest levels of employee engagement. This starts with hiring the right people. We’ll show you how to attract, vet, select, and develop a team that will define the company culture you’ve always strived for.

Summary:

The greatest challenge facing employers today is hiring and developing staff. Unemployment is at an historic low and the most talented candidates in the job market have more options than ever before. Making the right hiring decisions has never been more important or more difficult. And smaller businesses face even greater hiring challenges as they seek to compete with corporations offering robust benefits, high salaries, and attractive perks. The costs of making wrong hiring decisions, or hesitation in the face of potential growth is staggering.

This session will show you how to attract and be attractive to the most qualified candidates; how to vet for those less obvious traits and attributes that will contribute to a great culture and high employee engagement; and how to create development strategies that will keep employees engaged.

We anticipate great interaction between attendees and facilitators as we delve into the process of hiring, compare different approaches to vetting and selection, and analyze data from expert studies in the fields of staffing, culture, and employee engagement. And we’ll demonstrate how they are all interconnected.

Finally, we will look at the latest findings in “Hiring for Attitude” and use that work as the foundation for developing strategies that will allow you to be competitive in the employment market. We’ll help you hone your hiring skills so that you can: 1) determine which traits and attributes are most important to your culture; 2) expertly identify and vet for those traits and attributes; 3), present yourself and your practice as the “hearing healthcare employer of choice; and 4) initiate the right strategies for employee development.

We will help to you to ensure you have the right people in the right seats, create and maintain a culture of high employee engagement, and prepare your practice for growth. Today’s job candidates will look to align themselves with a brand. We’ll help you make sure that you are hiring potential brand champions, ready to evangelize your business.
