Webinar Series: The Audiology & Speech Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC)
The ASLP-IC is an occupational licensure compact similar in function and form to existing compacts for other health care disciplines (e.g., medicine, nursing, physical therapy, psychology, and emergency medical services). It addresses the increased demand to provide and receive audiology and speech-language pathology services, both as telehealth and in-person practice, across state lines in participating compact states. This series will explain a compact structure and the details of the ASLP-IC. Additionally, the series will offer tips and strategies from other disciplines on how to advance the compact legislation at the state level to enact the compact. This series can be helpful to individuals active within state audiology academies or licensing boards, as well as individuals who wish to understand more about the compact and how to help advance it.
Note: Webinars are not offered for CEU credit.
